Rangers romp Bruins 5-2

Good evening folks, the Bruins actually played a game today after all of the Kessel talk.

The Bruins fell to the New York Rangers, 5-2. The loss was Boston's first of the pre-season.
The goal scorers for the Bruins were Marc Savard and Zach Hamill. Tim Thomas went the entire way in goal, and looked shaky. Thomas yielded five goals on 19 shots.

Milan Lucic was physical as always in this one, but was ejected for spearing New York's Michael Del Zotto at 16:06 of the second period.

The Bright Spot: Marc Savard played in his first pre-season game, scoring in the first period. Savard had a knee injury early in camp.
The Dark Spot: Tim Thomas looked shaky in goal. Thomas is likely shaking off the rust and is prepping for Oct 1.
