Bruins fall to Jackets in SO 6-5

The Bruins lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight 6-5 in a shoot out. My three things that I learned from tonight's game.

1) Patrice Bergeron is going to have a big season.Bergy has had great vision in the pre-season, and it looks like he could get back to pre-concussion form. I'm still going to stick with my prediction of a possible point per game season; possibly 80?

2) Marc Savard looked good, and scored Boston's fifth goal. Savard had a knee issue earlier this pre-season, but it looks like Savard is back at 100 percent. There is no question that Savard is the most important forward for Boston. Savard should easily eclipse 80 points again this season.

3) Is there really still a question to who will back up Tim Thomas? The answer is no, as Dany Sabourin and Tuuka Rask have been on two different levels in their starts thus far. Rask will be behind Thomas. I can see Rask starting close to 30 games this season, with Thomas being a guy who needs to have his fair share of rest.
