Lefebvre recalled from Providence

Guillaume Lefebvre was recalled by the Boston Bruins this morning on an emergency basis and is expected to be available for Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Lefebvre, as previously mentioned is a bruiser and may have been called up to take Shawn Thornton's place until he recovers from injury. Thornton is on the team's trip, but if he can't go the Bruins will need another bruiser in the lineup when they play the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Flyers are a big and tough team and Lefebvre may be called to do what he is doing in the picture to the right. This game will be a much bigger test for the Bruins than last nights game against Nashville. It will be interesting to see how Boston responds without a bruiser like Milan Lucic and their top center, Marc Savard against some of the brass of the Eastern Conference.
