Bruins outlast Isles, 2-1

The Boston Bruins defeated the New York Islanders 2-1 today at the TD Banknorth Garden. Outlast

The Bruins looked like they were going to coast to a victory today after taking a 2-0 lead, just over four minutes into the game. However, the Isles tightened things up and the B's had to battle for their two points.

With the two points, Boston moved eight points ahead of the New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins have 12 games remaining on their regular season schedule.
