Could B's Bring Comrie and Duff to Bean Town?

The Rumor mill has been starting to pick up some heat lately as we have just over two weeks until the deadline. Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli has said he has eight players on his list of Bruins potential additions. But, whom? Well, BruinSpace has one more name that they think could be on the list. That name is Mike Comrie of the New York Islanders.

Comrie is a name that came up with talks for the Islanders, sloted to be big sellers at the deadline. Doug Weight and Bill Guerin are other names on the Islanders selling block, however, reports have said that Weight and Guerin want to stay on the Island.

Now is this likely? Maybe or maybe not depending on what side you take. Side one would be that the Bruins normally go after big players, and Comrie is 5'10", 185 pounds. Side two would say that Comrie is a great two way player who can shut down a top scorer and the Bruins like those guys too (Axelsson and Yelle).

Just another name to add to the potential eight player list that the Bruins GM is playing with. Other names still include, Keith Tkachuk, Erik Cole, Nik Antropov and Chris Pronger.
